Lead Cleaning Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Cleaning Technician to oversee and coordinate cleaning operations across various facilities. Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of cleaning technicians, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance to ensure quality standards are met.
• Oversee cleaning operations across multiple sites, including industrial facilities, commercial buildings, or hospitality venues.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and sanitation protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
• Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Train new staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and equipment usage to promote efficiency and consistency.
• Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with clients and management to address concerns, report progress, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Experience

• Proven experience in custodial or janitorial services, with a strong background in industrial or commercial cleaning environments.
• Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience within a cleaning or sanitation setting.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning operations, including OSHA standards where applicable.
• Hands-on experience with various cleaning methods including sanitation procedures for high-touch surfaces, laundry services, and hospitality housekeeping management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff towards achieving operational excellence.
• Excellent communication skills suited for managerial roles involving customer service and team supervision.
