Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lead – Outbound Process to manage and monitor day-to-day outbound operations across two shifts. The role will be responsible for ensuring timely order processing, picking, packing, dispatch, productivity, SLA adherence, and effective team management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day outbound operations across 2 shifts.
• Supervise and guide warehouse/outbound team members to achieve daily targets.
• Monitor order processing, picking, packing, staging and dispatch activities.
• Ensure adherence to defined SLA, productivity and quality parameters.
• Track daily operational KPIs and take corrective actions for deviations.
• Coordinate with sourcing, inventory, transport and other internal teams for smooth dispatch operations.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower and resources across shifts.
• Monitor pending orders, ageing orders, short shipments and operational exceptions.
• Handle escalations related to outbound operations and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare and maintain daily/weekly MIS and operational reports.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards and company policies.
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase productivity and reduce errors.
• Conduct shift handovers and ensure continuity of operations.
• Train and coach team members on process, quality and productivity standards.
• Coordinate with vendors/3PL partners wherever required.
• Support management in achieving operational and business targets.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of outbound/warehouse operations.
• Good understanding of order fulfilment, dispatch and logistics processes.
• Strong team-handling and shift-management skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting.
• Working knowledge of WMS/ERP systems will be preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong ownership and accountability.

Preferred Candidate

• Graduate in any discipline; logistics/operations qualification will be an advantage.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in warehouse, e-commerce, logistics or fulfilment operations.
• Candidates with experience in handling multiple shifts and teams will be preferred.Role & responsibilities
