Lead CNC Engineer / Team Leader

Banbury | £45,000–£50,000 negotiable, depending on experience

40 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours to meet delivery deadlines.

EVOLVE combines Formula 1 engineering heritage with precision manufacturing for motorsport, aerospace and defence. We’re looking for a skilled, hands-on CNC engineer to lead our workshop and help shape its next stage of growth.

Our plans include purchasing a Brother 5-axis machining centre, with future robot loading capability—an opportunity to help develop our machining processes and progression towards automation.

THE ROLE

Programme, set and operate CNC machines using Autodesk Fusion, including 5-axis milling.

Lead daily workshop planning, tooling and delivery, maintaining quality and safe working practices.

Support and develop our small team of experienced staff and apprentices.

Improve fixtures, toolpaths and machining methods, with clear production and inspection records.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Proven precision CNC machining experience, including independent 5-axis programming and setup.

Strong Autodesk Fusion CAD/CAM skills and confidence with Haas controls.

Sound understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T and inspection.

Practical leadership, initiative and a willingness to share your knowledge.

CNC turning and motorsport or aerospace experience would be valuable. Relevant qualifications are welcome; proven ability matters.
