Job Title: Lead Contracts Engineer.

Sector/Business Line: EEBMS.

Scope: Engineering Services.

Department: Contracts.

Accountabilities:

• Maintain the contract administration plan, obligations register, notice calendar and correspondence controls.
• Draft and review contractual letters, notices, instructions and responses to preserve the Client’s and PMCM’s contractual position.
• Assess variation and claim submissions for contractual basis, causation, records, entitlement and required supporting particulars.- Maintain change, claim, instruction and dispute registers and report exposure and action status.
• Coordinate technical, planning, quantity and cost inputs into integrated contractual assessments.
• Advise project teams on contract interpretation, delegated authorities, procedural deadlines and record requirements.
• Support negotiations and dispute avoidance through clear factual chronologies and contract-based recommendations.
• Comply with the project HSE plan, applicable legal requirements and PMCM HSE procedures.
• Stop, report and escalate unsafe conditions or activities in accordance with delegated authority and project procedures.
• Participate in risk assessments, inspections, incident learning and corrective-action follow-up relevant to the role.
• Promote safe behavior, environmental protection and proper housekeeping in all supervised or reviewed activities.

Direct Manager: Commercial Manager.

Education Background:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering .
• 7+ years of relevant experience, including experience on comparable construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in a PMCM/PMC or consultant-side role on multidisciplinary projects of comparable scale and complexity.
• Relevant professional registration or certification where required by applicable law or Client requirements.
• FIDIC/contract-management training or certification is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant discipline-specific engineering, review or reporting applications.
• Familiarity with common data environments, dashboards, BIM/model review or project controls systems, as applicable.
