Lead Cook/Prep

• Cleaning: Cooks should keep the kitchen clean and organized by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and cleaning and sanitizing tools after cooking.
• Food preparation: Cooks prepare food for customers, which can include basic cooking tasks like, preparing simple dishes like salads, soups and entrees, pizzas, and sandwiches.
• Kitchen: Cooks may coordinate food preparation, and work with other staff to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly. They may also need to restock food and monitor inventory.
• Food safety: Cooks should follow nutrition and sanitation guidelines, monitor food temperatures and quality, and ensure food safety standards are met.
