Lead Data Integration Engineer - Epic

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Data Integration Engineer - Epic to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This remote role will provide technical leadership for interoperability initiatives that support secure, accurate, and efficient healthcare data exchange. The person in this position will partner closely with business and solution architects to shape integration strategies, review solution designs, and guide the development team on best practices. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity focused on data movement, transformation, and integration across critical healthcare systems.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,100 – $145,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for interoperability initiatives
• Design and oversee development of interoperability technology platforms
• Manage data exchange and transformation solutions for business initiatives
• Build relationships with business and solution architects
• Review solution designs for new trading partners
• Recommend tools and systems to support data technology goals
• Conduct regular coaching and training sessions with the development team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 8-10 years of experience in data integration
• Proven expertise in interoperability and integration solutions
• Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, and APIs
• Experience with data exchange, transformation, and loading solutions
