Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Scientist with strong expertise in classical machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), Python, SQL, Azure, and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and deploying data science solutions to solve complex business problems and deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models for business use cases.
• Apply classical machine learning techniques, including regression, classification, XGBoost, and LightGBM.
• Develop and optimize deep learning models for complex data-driven problems.
• Build and implement NLP solutions for text processing and analysis.
• Perform data exploration, preprocessing, feature engineering, and model selection.
• Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and optimization techniques.
• Work with large datasets using Python, SQL, and Snowflake.
• Leverage Microsoft Azure for cloud-based data science and machine learning solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Translate business requirements into data science solutions and measurable outcomes.
• Monitor model performance and recommend improvements to maintain accuracy and reliability.
• Follow best practices for code quality, documentation, scalability, and model validation.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience in data science and machine learning.
• Hands-on expertise in classical ML algorithms, including XGBoost, LightGBM, regression, and classification.
• Knowledge of deep learning techniques and frameworks.
• Experience with NLP techniques and applications.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Snowflake and large-scale data processing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Candidate Requirements

• 10–14 years of relevant professional experience.
• Must be available to join immediately.
• Must be comfortable with the C2H employment model.
• Must be willing to work in a hybrid setup from Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, or Coimbatore.
• Must be available for the in-person L2/client interview.
