Position: Lead Data Solution Engineer (HR Data Strategy & Cloud Architect)

We are seeking a Lead Data Solution Engineer to join our Data Strategy team to architect and deliver enterprise-scale data solutions that drive innovation and efficiency across HR systems. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical leadership to design robust relational and enterprise data models, aligning data architectures with our hybrid cloud strategy ( Azure, AWS, and On-Premises ). You will build and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, and Spark on OpenShift , integrating core HR, payroll, and talent management platforms. Operating in a highly governed framework, you will automate deployment via DevOps/CI-CD lines , evaluate emerging AI/LLM technologies , and ensure strict data privacy, risk, and compliance standards are met while mentoring engineering squads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect HR Data Platforms: Lead end-to-end data solution design and execution for enterprise HR domains, ensuring structural scalability, security, and high availability.
• Build Enterprise Pipelines: Develop, scale, and optimize low-latency ETL/ELT workflows using Snowflake, dbt, Apache Airflow, and Spark runtimes.
• Enforce Hybrid Cloud Strategy: Engineer data fabric integrations across multi-cloud and local infrastructure topologies spanning AWS, Azure, and On-Premises clusters.
• Govern Data Frameworks: Define enterprise data architecture models, relational database schemas, metadata management criteria, and data quality frameworks for HR systems.
• Orchestrate Containerized Deployments: Manage and scale data pipeline engines containerized within Red Hat OpenShift cluster environments.
• Drive DevOps Automation: Formulate, maintain, and supervise automated CI/CD deployment pipelines to streamline continuous codebase promotions.
• Enforce Regulatory Privacy: Collaborate with compliance and governance teams to secure sensitive employee data and satisfy strict risk, access control, and privacy laws.
• Lead Innovation Workflows: Pioneer technical assessments to apply emerging AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and advanced workforce analytics to HR platform layers.
• Direct Cross-Functional Squads: Partner with HR stakeholders, product managers, developers, and analysts to convert complex business cases into production technical blueprints.

Required Skills:

• Primary: Enterprise Data Architecture, HR Data Domain Integration, Scalable ETL/ELT Design, Hybrid Cloud Solution Engineering, Relational Data Modeling.
• Tools/Frameworks: Snowflake, dbt (Data Build Tool), Apache Airflow, Apache Spark, Red Hat OpenShift, DevOps CI/CD Pipelines, Git.
• Database/Cloud: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Hybrid Systems, Core HR Data Schema structures (Payroll/Talent Acquisition).
• Nice-to-Have: AI/LLM integration experience, Data Privacy Framework expertise (GDPR, CCPA, SOC2), Databricks awareness, Snowflake/Cloud certifications.
