Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead to manage and support enterprise Tableau, Power BI, and Alteryx platforms, including their underlying AWS EC2 infrastructure. This role combines hands-on platform administration, production support, and offshore team leadership to ensure platform availability, performance, security, and reliable service delivery.

The Lead will serve as the primary point of contact for platform support, coordinate with client stakeholders, and guide the offshore team in resolving incidents and delivering operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform administration: Manage day-to-day administration and support of Tableau Server, Power BI Service and gateways, and Alteryx Server.
• User access provisioning: Manage user onboarding, access changes, offboarding, roles, permissions, and periodic access reviews.
• Platform monitoring: Monitor platform health, service availability, scheduled jobs, refreshes, workflows, resource utilization, and capacity.
• Incident and problem management: Troubleshoot platform incidents, failed jobs, connectivity issues, and service disruptions. Coordinate resolution, escalation, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Upgrades and patches: Plan, test, and implement platform upgrades, security patches, and configuration changes through established change management procedures.
• Performance tuning: Analyze and resolve performance issues affecting dashboards, reports, extracts, data refreshes, Alteryx workflows, and platform services.
• License management: Track license allocation, usage, renewals, and compliance; identify opportunities to reclaim unused licenses and optimize costs.
• AWS EC2 management: Support EC2 instances hosting visualization and analytics platforms, including instance sizing, operating system maintenance, storage, monitoring, backups, and recovery. Coordinate networking, IAM, and security requirements with infrastructure teams.
• Offshore leadership: Lead the offshore support team, prioritize and delegate work, manage handoffs, review resolution quality, and ensure adherence to SLAs.
• Stakeholder communication: Provide timely incident updates, operational reporting, maintenance communications, and recommendations to client and internal stakeholders.
• Operational readiness: Maintain runbooks, platform inventories, support procedures, and recovery documentation; support backup validation and disaster recovery exercises.
• Continuous improvement: Automate recurring administrative tasks and strengthen monitoring, support processes, platform reliability, and cost efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics platform administration, or production support, including 2+ years leading support teams.
• Hands-on administration and troubleshooting experience with Tableau Server, Power BI Service and gateways, and Alteryx Server.
• Experience managing AWS EC2 infrastructure and supporting Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, service accounts, SSO, and role-based access controls.
• Experience with platform upgrades, patching, monitoring, performance tuning, license management, and backup and recovery.
• Working knowledge of SQL and scripting tools such as PowerShell or Python for troubleshooting and automation.
• Familiarity with incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Strong client communication, ownership, prioritization, and offshore coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Alteryx , AWS, or ITIL certifications.
• Experience supporting enterprise analytics platforms in insurance or financial services.
• Experience with high-availability configurations, disaster recovery, and cloud cost
