Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lead DBA – Oracle Expert with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle database administration, performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery, and cloud database technologies. The ideal candidate should have proven experience leading DBA teams and managing mission-critical production database environments.

Required Experience & Technical Skills

• Oracle Database Administration: 8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle DBA, including Oracle 19c or later.
• Team Leadership: Minimum 2+ years of experience leading DBA teams and coordinating database operations.
• Oracle Technologies: Strong expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, ASM, AWR/ASH, and GoldenGate.
• Production Database Management: Hands-on experience in backup and recovery, database migration, upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Other Databases: Good working knowledge of MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Cloud Databases: Experience with AWS RDS and Aurora is required; knowledge of GCP is an added advantage.
• Distributed Technologies: Working knowledge of Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and ETCD.
• Automation & Scripting: Experience with Python, Shell scripting, Ansible, Terraform, and Git.

Educational Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage DBA operations, ensuring database availability, reliability, security, and performance.
• Design, implement, and maintain Oracle database environments, including RAC and Data Guard.
• Manage database backup, recovery, disaster recovery, migration, and upgrade activities.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot complex production issues.
• Implement database automation using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Support cloud database environments and collaborate with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams.
• Mentor DBA team members and ensure adherence to database administration best practices.

Pay: ₹1,400,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
