About the role
Own demand planning in a complex, engineer-to-order environment — converting sales pipelines, customer forecasts, and order history into actionable production schedules across a high-mix product portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Drive rolling forecasts and S&OP/S&OE cycles across hundreds of part families
- Translate demand signals into capacity constraints and shop floor priorities
- Own order promising and lead time quoting with Sales and Scheduling
- Set planning parameters (safety stock, buffers) suited to low-volume, variable demand
- Track forecast accuracy and continuously improve inputs and methods
- Master Scheduling
Requirements:
- 5+ years demand/supply planning in HMLV, job shop, or ETO manufacturing
- Solid grasp of machine shop operations and/or mechatronics assembly
- ERP proficiency (Navison preferred/ SAP/ BAAN); strong MRP fundamentals
- Confident facilitating cross-functional trade-off discussions
