Lead Developer

As a lead developer, this role is responsible for working on both new and existing applications and automation systems within PCS Internal. The primary focus is to design, develop, and test application and automation workflows and related system solutions that streamline repetitive tasks through the use of RPA tools and techniques. The role also includes supervising junior developers, managing team deliverables, and reporting directly to the Head of IT.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in software development, SAP development (ABAP), or automation (RPA / workflow technologies).
• Strong experience in software design, development, and system integration across enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with automation platforms such as SAP Build, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), or similar technologies is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., ABAP, JavaScript, SQL) and development best practices.
• Solid understanding of system architecture, integration concepts, and end-to-end solution design.
• Ability to work both independently and as a technical lead within a team environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including business users and management.
• Proven ability to mentor and guide junior developers, ensuring knowledge transfer and team capability development.
• Experience in SAP ERP development (ABAP) and integration with external systems.
• Experience with automation tools such as SAP Build Process Automation, Power Automate, or other RPA platforms.
• Experience in leading development projects or acting as a technical lead.
• Strong logical thinking and analytical programming capability.

Job Responsibilities :

Lead Technical Delivery and Solution Design

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and ERP Analyst to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and efficient technical solutions.
• Lead technical assessment to identify opportunities for system enhancement, automation, and AI-driven solutions across SAP and application platforms.

Development and Automation Management

• Design, develop, and oversee implementation of SAP and application solutions, including automation workflows (RPA, SAP Build, Power Platform).
• Ensure all development activities follow best practices in coding standards, system architecture, and integration design.
• Review and approve technical design and development deliverables to ensure quality and maintainability.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize business processes through automation and system enhancements.
• Introduce new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve development efficiency and solution capability.
• Mentor and guide developers to enhance their technical skills, coding standards, and development practices.

• Lead system implementation, ensuring smooth deployment, proper testing, and minimal disruption to business operations.
• Oversee troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of production issues to ensure system stability and performance.
• Ensure proper documentation, fallback plans, and system reliability for all solutions delivered.

• Establish and enforce development standards, documentation practices, and technical governance across all projects.
