Lead Developer

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Developer to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud-native applications that support scalable, high-availability business operations. The position is focused on modernizing application architecture through microservices, API development, and robust DevOps practices. You will partner closely with product management, quality assurance, and other cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into reliable technical solutions.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $165,693 – $176,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of cloud-native applications on Azure
• Develop microservices using Golang, gRPC, and .NET technologies
• Create RESTful APIs and gRPC protocols for microservices architecture
• Integrate Salesforce with internal and external applications
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Yaml, and Docker
• Conduct code reviews and establish coding standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, computer applications, or a related field
• 3 years experience as a Software Developer or Program Analyst
• 3 years progressive experience in cloud-based application development
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and enterprise platform integration
• Microsoft Certifications: Azure Developer Associate and DevOps Engineer Expert, or equivalent
