Lead Developer

Developer Lead Full Stack | Node.js | Next.js | AI

Key Responsibilities:

• Own features end-to-end across Frontend API Database Worker AI Provider Webhook.
• Identify technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement scalable solutions.
• Make architecture decisions and determine when to use synchronous APIs vs queues and background workers.
• Review code/PRs for security, performance, scalability, business logic, and regressions.
• Debug production issues using logs, PM2, Redis queues, webhooks, and database records.
• Break business requirements into practical, shippable technical tasks.
• Mentor and guide developers and support technical decision-making.
• Build reliable AI workflows, retries, failure handling, credits, refunds, and job processing.
• Design secure and idempotent integrations with Razorpay, Meta/Instagram, and other third-party services.
• Work with both demo/static providers and live AI providers while maintaining production stability.
• Ensure application performance, reliability, security, and scalability.

Required Technical Skills:

Frontend

• Next.js (App Router), React, TypeScript
• NextAuth, Axios, state management and forms
• Tailwind CSS and responsive UI
• Performance optimization, code splitting, next/dynamic
• Familiarity with Framer Motion/GSAP and modern React libraries

Backend

• Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js
• REST APIs, JWT, middleware and authorization
• Prisma, MySQL, migrations and query optimization
• Zod or similar validation libraries
• SSE for long-running and AI processes

Queues & Processing

• Redis, BullMQ/Bull
• Background workers and worker threads
• Job retries, idempotency and rate limiting
• Asynchronous job processing and failure handling

AI & Integrations

• AI/LLM API integrations
• AI job workflows and provider integrations
• Third-party API integrations
• Webhooks and webhook security
• Credits, wallet, payment and refund logic

Media & Storage

• FFmpeg and video/audio processing
• HLS and progressive MP4
• PDF generation/editing using pdf-lib or Puppeteer
• S3-compatible object storage and signed URLs

Infrastructure

• Docker, PM2 and cron processes
• AWS fundamentals S3, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC
• Logging, health checks and production debugging
• Deployment and application monitoring

Architecture Expectations

The candidate should be comfortable working with a modular Node.js + Next.js architecture and should understand:

• When to use queue + worker vs synchronous API
• Reliable handling of AI jobs, credits, refunds, retries and failures
• Secure and idempotent payment and third-party webhooks
• Handling API/provider failures and retry mechanisms
• Separating demo/static providers from live AI providers
• Designing reliable workflows for long-running and asynchronous processes
