Position: Lead Dialysis Technician

Experience: 10-20 years in Dialysis
Qualification: B.Sc. / Diploma in Dialysis Technology or equivalent

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Lead Dialysis Technician to oversee day-to-day dialysis operations, ensure quality patient care, and support the clinical team in maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the dialysis technician team during daily operations.
• Ensure safe and effective execution of dialysis procedures as per NephroPlus SOPs and clinical protocols.
• Monitor patient care throughout the dialysis process and ensure timely intervention/escalation whenever required.
• Ensure proper functioning, maintenance, and monitoring of dialysis machines and equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient records, treatment documentation, and other required clinical records.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, biomedical waste management, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with the Centre Manager, nephrologist, nurses, and other team members for smooth centre operations.
• Support onboarding, training, and mentoring of new and junior dialysis technicians.
• Monitor adherence to quality standards and participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure adequate availability and proper handling of consumables and clinical supplies.
• Handle clinical escalations and communicate critical patient-related concerns to the appropriate senior/medical team.
• Promote a patient-centric approach and maintain a high standard of patient experience.

Eligibility

• Diploma/B.Sc. in Dialysis Technology or relevant qualification.
• 10-20 years of relevant dialysis experience, preferably with experience in a senior/lead role.
• Willingness to work in shifts as per centre requirements.
