Lead Domestic

We are looking for a reliable and organised Lead Domestic to join the team at The Leonard Elms.

This is a hands-on role where you will lead and support the domestic and laundry team, helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, organise and support the domestic and laundry team.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and infection control throughout the home.
• Organise cleaning schedules, deep cleans and housekeeping audits.
• Manage stock levels, order supplies and check deliveries.
• Support staff inductions, training, supervision and appraisals.
• Oversee laundry services and help resolve queries regarding residents' belongings.
• Complete housekeeping records and general administration.

About you:

• Experience in housekeeping or domestic services, ideally within a care home.
• Previous experience supporting or supervising a team.
• A good understanding of hygiene, infection control, health and safety and COSHH.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A practical, hands-on approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care and cleanliness.

The role is 36 hours per week, including six hours of administration, paid at £13.45 per hour.
