Lead EDI Developer

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, enhance, and maintain EDI solutions using EDIFACT message standards.

Analyze customer requirements and convert them into EDI mappings and business workflows.

Develop and maintain backend applications using VB.NET.

Design, optimize, and support SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, and queries.

Monitor and troubleshoot inbound and outbound EDI transactions.

Investigate and resolve production issues related to EDI processing and data integrations.

Work with business users, trading partners, and internal teams to validate data exchange requirements.

Perform root cause analysis for failed transactions and implement permanent fixes.

Create technical design documents, mapping specifications, and support documentation.

Participate in system testing, UAT support, deployment, and post-production monitoring.

Ensure adherence to coding standards, security policies, and best practices.

Collaborate with offshore and onsite stakeholders across different time zones.

Technical Skills Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience in EDI development and support.

Strong knowledge of EDIFACT standards and message types.

Proficiency In Microsoft SQL Server Stored Procedures

Domain Knowledge Understanding of supply chain, logistics, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, or financial transaction integrations is preferred.

Experience with VB6 or VB5 legacy application support and migration.

Knowledge of X12 transaction sets.

Experience with EDI mapping tools and integration platforms.

Exposure to Azure or cloud-based integration services.
