Lead Engineer, Analytics Platform & AI

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Engineer, Analytics Platform & AI to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This role will guide the development of scalable analytics capabilities that bring together modern software engineering, data pipelines, and AI-driven insights. You will partner closely with product, data science, and engineering teams to shape technical direction and deliver client-facing solutions. The position is well suited for a hands-on leader who can balance architecture, execution, and mentorship in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead full stack product development for responsive analytics interfaces and services
• Establish technical architecture for cloud-based analytics solutions to ensure scalability and security
• Collaborate with product management on feature prioritization and delivery using Agile practices
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI into analytics products for enhanced client insights
• Partner with data scientists to operationalize machine learning models into production services
• Design ETL processes to maintain data pipelines and dashboards
• Mentor engineering team members and improve engineering practices

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, focused on full stack development
• 3+ years of experience leading or mentoring engineering teams
• Proven experience with AI or machine learning in analytics products
• Strong front end skills using TypeScript, JavaScript, and React
• Proficient back end development utilizing Python
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL
• Familiarity with core AWS services for data and analytics
