Lead Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer – Civil to manage and coordinate civil construction activities at the HMEL Refinery project. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, supervision, quality coordination, documentation, and timely completion of assigned civil works.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at site.
• Plan and coordinate civil works as per project drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, supervisors and site workforce.
• Monitor execution, quality, productivity and progress of civil works.
• Coordinate with the Site In-charge, Quality, Safety, Planning and other project teams.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and safety requirements.
• Check measurements, quantities, materials and work progress.
• Coordinate with the Quality team for inspections, testing and required documentation.
• Prepare and maintain DPRs, work reports, measurements and other project documentation.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned teams for timely resolution.
• Support billing, quantity verification and other project-related documentation.
• Monitor manpower and material requirements for assigned activities.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with site HSE requirements.
• Take responsibility for timely completion of assigned civil works.
• Handle additional site coordination and responsibilities as required by project management.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant civil construction experience.
• Experience in industrial, refinery, tank, structural or infrastructure projects will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction activities and site execution.
• Ability to read and understand civil drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge of measurements, quantities, DPRs and site documentation.
• Good coordination and team-management skills.
• Ability to work independently at a project site.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in refinery projects, tank construction, industrial civil works, RCC works, structural works, foundations and large-scale construction projects will be preferred.
