Lead Engineer Equipments- Dahej

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer for Equipments to join our dynamic team in Dahej. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of equipment engineering, maintenance, and reliability within our large-scale chemical manufacturing facility. This role requires a strong leader with deep technical expertise in various types of industrial equipment, a proactive approach to maintenance, and a commitment to operational excellence and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of high performance, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Develop, implement, and optimize comprehensive maintenance strategies, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for all plant equipment.
• Oversee the troubleshooting and resolution of complex equipment failures, performing root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence and improve reliability.
• Manage equipment lifecycle, from selection and procurement to installation, commissioning, operation, and eventual decommissioning or upgrade.
• Ensure all equipment operations and maintenance activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations (HSE), and company policies.
• Prepare and manage the annual budget for equipment maintenance, spare parts, and capital projects related to equipment upgrades or new installations.
• Collaborate with production, operations, and project teams to ensure seamless integration of equipment engineering activities with overall plant objectives.
• Identify and implement technological advancements and best practices in equipment engineering and maintenance to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for specialized equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Develop and maintain detailed equipment documentation, maintenance records, and performance reports.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, availability, and cost-effectiveness.
