Lead Engineer – Systems Functional Safety

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain functional safety plans, procedures, and standards for automotive projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify hazards and implement mitigation strategies.
• Conduct risk assessments, fault tree analysis, and failure mode effects analysis (FMEA) to ensure compliance with ISO 26262 requirements.
• Provide technical guidance on functional safety best practices to junior engineers.

Job Requirements :

• 9-12 years of experience in functional safety engineering in the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of ISO 26262 standard and its application in vehicle development processes.
• Experience with FMEA methodology and ability to conduct thorough risk assessments.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
