Lead Facilitator

About the role

Lead Facilitators will take a lead in facilitating, coordinating, and delivering residential and day outdoor education programs while meeting the learning outcomes of the programs. You will work with groups of young learners aged 7 to 12 years old in a short-term experiential learning program at Green Camp Bali.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate, coordinate, and deliver residential and day outdoor education programs.
• Co-design, write, and develop session curricula and learning activities.
• Communicate and liaise with inquiries from parents, agents, and Ayana through various correspondence
• Contribute to and comply with all safeguarding policies and standard operating procedures
• Maintain accurate records and reflections on campers' attendance, behavior, and progress
• Actively contribute to facility maintenance and cleaning as needed at the end of each camp day
• Facilitate activity sessions in such a way that all participants feel valued, safe, and part of a team
• Deliver a wide range of outdoor programs including team building, climbing, swimming, high ropes, river activities, hiking, and biking
• Supervise and assure physical and emotional safety of all participants
• Work flexibly including some evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Have full working rights in Indonesia
• Hold a degree in Education, Communication, Science, Environmental Science, or English Literature.
• Minimum 1 year teaching or leading experience either indoors or outdoors
• High level and excellent ability to speak and write in English
• High interest in and knowledge of the natural world and sustainability
• Ability to combine creativity and leadership together
• Highly enthusiastic and responsible person committed to teaching adults, youth, and children
• Physically fit and dependable, able to work long days with groups of students in nature
• Experience in leading TEFL or ELL class
