The Lead Finance Analyst plays a critical role in the delivery of monthly financial performance to Trustmarque Ultima's Professional Services business. The successful candidate will work closely with their finance and operational colleagues as part of a team to deliver meaningful reporting and drive improvements in business performance. They will ensure robust financial controls are maintained and produce output of a high standard of detail and accuracy.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly Financial Performance revenue, cost of sales and overhead reporting in accordance with IFRS 15.
• Preparation of the monthly consolidation of Professional Services Performance Reporting pack across the Group.
• Monthly variance analysis, comparing current performance against Budget and Prior Year. Identifying key variances impacting performance to stakeholders, enabling appropriate action to be taken.
• Review and control of the balance sheet within their respective Professional Services area to maintain good working capital management.
• Monthly preparation of Professional Services revenue rolling forecast.
• Overseeing the effective control and prompt settlement of intercompany Professional Services works, coordinating with relevant teams.
• Coordinating with colleagues in the Professional Services team and wider business to support project financial control.

Essentials experience and skills:

• A qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW or similar) with 3-5 years PQE, or QBE.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, CRM systems, and familiar with using Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent numeracy, with the ability to work with and manage large data sets.
• A detail-orientated mindset, focusing on accuracy, instituting and maintaining controls.
• Ability to prioritise workload effectively, manage expectations, and deliver against reporting deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Desirable experience and skills:

• Experience with a Professional Services business reporting under IFRS 15.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM systems.
• Proven track record of implementing automation and process improvement.
