Duties

• Lead and mentor a team of fine dining servers, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Provide outstanding guest service by anticipating needs, offering personalized recommendations, and ensuring a seamless dining experience.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of menu items, wine pairings, spirits, cocktails, and food preparation to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Manage all aspects of beverage service including cocktail mixing, wine service, spirits knowledge, and drink presentation in accordance with safety standards.
• Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; handle cash and credit card payments efficiently.
• Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a focus on guest preferences.
• Oversee food safety, sanitation, food handling procedures, and proper serving techniques to uphold health standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and proper food presentation in a fine dining environment.
• Assist with reservations management using OpenTable or similar systems; ensure smooth flow of service during busy hours.
• Support guest relations by resolving concerns promptly and professionally to ensure an exceptional dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, tables, and dining areas throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fine dining restaurant settings with strong knowledge of food service operations.
• Extensive beverage knowledge including spirits, wine pairing, cocktail creation, and drink service techniques.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and reservation platforms like OpenTable.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to upsell effectively while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Strong leadership qualities with experience guiding or mentoring a team of servers or hospitality staff.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in sales transactions processing.
• Culinary experience or background in the food industry is highly desirable; familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus.
• Basic math skills for handling bills, tips, and inventory calculations confidently.
• Previous nightclub or high-energy hospitality experience is beneficial for managing lively environments.
