Lead Finish Carpenter

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to work on various projects that require precision and attention to detail. As a Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for the final touches that enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of residential and commercial spaces. Your expertise in working with power tools, reading schematics, and understanding construction estimating will be essential to your success in this role.

Duties

• Execute finish carpentry tasks including installing trim, molding, cabinets, and other fixtures.
• Assemble furniture and cabinetry according to specifications.
• Restore and repair existing structures to maintain their integrity and appearance.
• Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square for optimal results.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
• Utilize power tools safely and effectively while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately complete projects.
• Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets industry standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably with a focus on finish carpentry.
• Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry tasks.
• Strong understanding of construction estimating techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 44.0 per week
