Lead Full Stack Web Developer

Your Impact Join Asahi Beverages’ Digital Products team and build digital experiences across some of Australia’s most recognised brands.

Reporting to the DevOps Manager, the Lead Full Stack Developer role combines hands-on development with technical leadership. You’ll work across a broad portfolio of consumer websites and digital initiatives, balancing day-to-day enhancements with larger custom projects while contributing to solution design, technical estimation and better ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, enhance and maintain consumer websites, ecommerce platforms and digital products across Azure, Next.js and Shopify environments
• Develop modern front-end experiences alongside scalable back-end applications, APIs and integrations
• Work with Digital, Marketing and Brand stakeholders to turn business needs into practical technical solutions
• Provide technical input into solution design, feasibility and effort estimation for new initiatives
• Build secure, maintainable and reusable solutions that can work across multiple brands and platforms
• Contribute to CI/CD, deployment automation and continuous improvements to performance and development practices

About You

• Around 3–4 years’ commercial experience in Full Stack Development, with strong hands-on coding capability
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills, with experience building modern applications using React and Next.js
• Experience developing and deploying solutions using Microsoft Azure services
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, APIs and integrations, with Shopify experience highly regarded
• Confident working with technical and non-technical stakeholders and comfortable navigating changing priorities
• Curious and proactive about technology, with a GitHub profile, personal website, portfolio or side projects highly valued
