The Role

A hands-on, high-impact leadership position where you will:

• Architect end-to-end GNC frameworks for agile, propulsive spacecraft platforms.
• Design state estimation pipelines, EKF/UKF algorithms, and thruster-based control laws.
• Develop high-fidelity 6DOF multi-vehicle simulation environments for proximity operations.
• Lead propulsion-coupled dynamics modeling including thrust misalignment and slosh.
• Represent GNC discipline at system reviews and client-facing technical presentations.
• Direct GNC verification across SIL, HIL, hardware integration, and flight operations.

The Essential Requirements

• US Citizenship strictly required due to export control compliance (ITAR).
• 8+ years of experience in full lifecycle spacecraft GNC/ACS development.
• Proven flight heritage taking at least one spacecraft subsystem through to launch.
• Deep technical background in Rendezvous, Proximity Operations (RPO) dynamics.
• Advanced proficiency in C++, Python, or MATLAB/Simulink for flight algorithms.

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Active Secret or Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
• Previous experience in cislunar navigation, GEO servicing, or high-agility maneuvering.
• Experience in fast-growing NewSpace startup environments or NASA programs.
