Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lead Hand Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee hands-on repair, installation, and maintenance tasks related to doors and loading dock equipment. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring safety standards are met while delivering efficient and quality workmanship on every project.

Responsibilities

• Installation, repair, and maintenance of doors and dock equipment
• Use hand tools, power tools, and construction materials to complete projects accurately and efficiently
• Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and company standards
• Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress on job sites
• Conduct quality inspections to guarantee the durability and safety of installations or repairs
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations

Experience

• Proven experience in the industry, 2+
• Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques
• Previous experience working with cleaning procedures in maintenance or restoration projects is a plus
• Ability to read technical drawings or specifications is advantageous
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide a team effectively

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
