HVAC Lead Installer / Journeyman

Pay: $32–$50 per hour, depending on experience

Eagle Eye Mechanical is a family-owned HVAC company serving the Santa Fe area. We’re looking for experienced lead installers and journeymen who take pride in their work, work well with a team, and provide good service to customers.

We work primarily on residential, light commercial, and commercial projects, including new construction and retrofits. Our installations range from mini-splits and unitary HVAC systems to ERVs, whole-home humidification, hydronic heating, and ductwork we fabricate in-house.

What you’ll do

• Lead and participate in HVAC and mechanical installations
• Install rectangular and round ductwork
• Work safely with tools, ladders, and equipment on construction sites
• Read measurements accurately and apply mechanical code requirements
• Communicate professionally with customers and help newer team members develop their skills

What we’re looking for

• Experience installing HVAC or mechanical systems
• Working knowledge of the refrigeration cycle for mini-split and unitary systems
• Sheet metal installation skills, including rectangular and round ductwork
• Knowledge of mechanical codes and basic framing practices
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, a tape measure, and basic job-site math
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work safely on ladders and at heights
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug test
• A willingness to learn and receive feedback

We provide training on specific systems and manufacturers, along with paid training for technical classes and certifications.
