Job Title: Lead HIL/SIL Test Engineer

Location: Mossville, IL

Duration: Long Term

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and automate test scripts using Python.

Lead and coordinate testing activities with the offshore team.

Define SIL/HIL boundaries, test requirements, and priorities.

Configure and execute HIL testing using dSPACE and Opal-RT.

Review test cases, scripts, and test reports.

Perform HIL bench testing and analyze results.

Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

Coordinate communication between onshore and offshore teams.

Required Skills:

5–7+ years of HIL/SIL testing experience.

Strong Python test automation experience.

Hands-on dSPACE and Opal-RT experience.

CAN / J1939 communication experience.

Embedded systems/software testing and V&V knowledge.

Ability to read hardware schematics and understand I/O connections.

Experience in automotive, off-highway, heavy machinery, or industrial controls.

Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
