Lead Holiday Light Installer

Our current open positions are for assistant holiday light installers.

We are an exterior home maintenance company that professionally installs holiday lights in the fall/winter season. We start installing as early as October.

Your job this year may predominantly be ground work and light prep. Most of the ground work will involve laying out socket, screwing in bulbs, lighting shrubs and trees and handling power. As we will be working outside, you will need to be prepared for the winter cold and rain.

Below are the responsibilities and duties for our year round positions many of which are applicable to installing holiday lights.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Safety is our number one priority. All safety protocols must be adhered to.
• Those who apply must not be afraid of heights as climbing ladders and working on roofs is required.
• Will be required to keep clean and organized work vehicles. Arrive on time and clock in by the designated daily start time each workday.
• Show up well-groomed with a professional appearance and in uniform with proper work gear based on the weather. Be proactive by looking ahead at schedule for the day and ensure all work equipment needed for the day and is in the vehicle.
• Maintain high level of detail in all aspects of our installations and always perform a post job inspection before leaving work site.
• Keep equipment and vehicles clean and in excellent working order and notify the office team of any equipment needing repair or replacement.
• Keep a very friendly demeanor and a high level of professionalism around and with customers at all time. Positive attitudes are a very important part of representing the company as our employees are an extension of us. Ensure customers are satisfied with our work before leaving work site.
• Be respectful and treat customers property with the utmost care and attention.

Qualifications and Skills

• No high school, higher education or previous window cleaning experience required.
• No technical skills or certifications required.
• Must be able to lift 100lbs and be able to on one's feet for 8+ hours.
• Will be required to do on the job training. Extensive safety training provided.
• Looking for those who are responsible, careful, have a meticulous work ethic, a can do attitude and will be dedicated to safety at all times. Must have a clean driving record.

Starting Pay is $30 an hour and can go up depending on skill level advancement. Bonuses will also be awarded for great work ethic and consistent improvement.

This job requires attention to detail, great listing skills, a good attitude, great customer service, positive thinking, time management skills, endurance punctuality and strength.

Pay: $30.00 - $31.00 per hour
