Lead Host

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Host to elevate our guest experience from the moment they arrive. As the face of our establishment, you will lead the front-of-house team, ensuring seamless reservation management, exceptional guest relations, and efficient table turnover. This pivotal role combines leadership with hands-on customer service, fostering a vibrant environment that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant reservation management using advanced restaurant table management systems such Tock/Resy to optimize seating arrangements and reduce wait times.
• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage waitlists, and communicate wait times clearly via phone or in person with excellent phone etiquette.
• Lead the front-of-house team in delivering outstanding guest services, ensuring all guests receive prompt attention and personalized care.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth table turnover and efficient service flow.
• Handle guest inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and maintain high standards of hospitality and guest relations throughout their visit.
• Manage phone communication effectively, providing information about reservations, event bookings, or special requests with clarity and professionalism.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the host station area while supporting food safety protocols as required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and build positive guest relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and hospitality best practices.
• Food service experience combined with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences is preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
