Lead Host/Maitre D'

Busy, well established downtown Burlingame restaurant seeking experienced Lead Host/Maitre D'
Respectful team player, with a strong work ethic and balanced sense of urgency with attention to detail.
Current one year minimum experience as Lead Host/Maitre D' in a upscale dining, high volume restaurant and ability to learn and thrive in a high volume restaurant.
Part-time or Full-time schedule (Must be able to work weekends).

Responsibilities

• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations or accommodations
• Interact with customers, share menu knowledge, seat guests, set up tables
• Restock and replenish restaurant inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• organize greeting, seating and exiting of all guests using a professional demeanor
• Provides host team with directives throughout service and keeps management aware of pertinent information throughout shift

Skills

• Experience with Open table/ Computer literacy
• Displays a pleasant and cheerful disposition
• Able to communicate professionally and effectively with both guests and staff
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep organized work environment
• Relevant training certificate
