What they need

Lead Housekeeper — Brunswick, Georgia

About Bosch Huis

Bosch Huis is a growing boutique hospitality company with multiple properties across Georgia. We care deeply about creating beautiful, comfortable stays and making sure every guest walks into a property that feels exceptionally clean and well cared for.

We're looking for a dependable Lead Housekeeper to take ownership of the housekeeping and presentation of our Brunswick property.

This role currently focuses on one property, but we expect to open additional properties in the Brunswick area in the near future. As we grow locally, we'd love for the right person to grow with us — including the opportunity for more hours, increased compensation, additional responsibility, and eventually helping train or oversee other housekeepers.

You'll work directly with the founder and have plenty of independence in managing your work and making sure the property is consistently guest-ready.

The Property & How It Operates

The Brunswick property is a 5-bedroom, 3.5-bath home, but it isn't always rented as one full house.

Sometimes the entire property is booked by one family or group. Other times, individual rooms or suites are rented separately to different guests — similar to how a small boutique hotel operates.

Because of that, the housekeeping schedule varies with our bookings.

Some days you may only need to turn over one or two guest rooms and refresh the shared spaces. Other days, the entire 5-bedroom home may need to be cleaned and reset between groups.

There can be daily turnovers during busy periods, while other weeks may only have a few. This is not a daily full-house cleaning job — the workload depends on guest check-ins and checkouts.

We'll provide the booking schedule so you know what needs to be cleaned and when. Weekends and holidays can naturally be busier because that's when people travel.

What You'll Do

  • Take ownership of the cleaning standard for the entire property
  • Handle both individual room turnovers and full-house turnovers
  • Clean and prepare bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas, and amenity spaces
  • Make sure every room is completely reset and guest-ready before arrival
  • Handle laundry on-site, including washing, drying, folding, organizing, and putting away linens
  • Keep shared spaces clean and presentable when individual guests are staying in the house
  • Restock toiletries, linens, and guest supplies
  • Keep cleaning products and supplies organized and let us know before something runs low
  • Pay attention to the small things — blinds, baseboards, marks on walls, under furniture, shower corners, etc.
  • Catch maintenance issues early and communicate anything that needs attention
  • Coordinate directly with the founder regarding the schedule, guest needs, and occasional special requests
  • Occasionally assist with celebrations or small events at the property
  • Pitch in with other reasonable property-related tasks from time to time — we're a small team and everyone helps where needed

What We're Looking For

Our standard is simple:

Imagine you're taking your own family on vacation. That's how clean and prepared you want the property to be.

Three things matter most:

Reliability. Guests arrive whether or not the day went according to plan. If you say the property will be ready, we need to know it will be.

Thoroughness. The details are the job. Under the bed, the corners of the shower, the blinds, the baseboards, and the places people sometimes overlook. A room that looks clean and a room that is clean aren't always the same thing.

Communication. If something breaks, runs low, doesn't look right, or is taking longer than expected, tell us early. We'd much rather know about a problem so we can solve it before a guest discovers it.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Takes genuine pride in their work
  • Is dependable and trustworthy
  • Can manage their work independently without constant supervision
  • Is comfortable with a changing hospitality schedule
  • Notices the little things without always needing to be told
  • Has a positive, team-first attitude
  • Understands that mistakes happen — communicating and fixing them quickly is what matters
  • Is comfortable with the physical demands of housekeeping and laundry
  • Has hotel, vacation-rental, or professional cleaning experience — helpful, but not required
  • Wants the opportunity to grow with a small hospitality company

Schedule

The schedule follows our guest bookings rather than a traditional Monday–Friday, 9–5 schedule.

Some weeks may have turnovers on several consecutive days, while others may be much lighter. A turnover could mean preparing a single guest room or cleaning the entire house depending on how the property was booked.

Flexibility is important, particularly around weekends and holidays.

Bosch Huis already operates other properties in Georgia, and we expect to add more properties in and around the Brunswick area in the near future. As the local portfolio grows, we want the right person in this role to have the opportunity to grow with it.

That could eventually mean additional work, increased compensation, helping train new housekeepers, and taking on a larger leadership role.

Compensation & Opportunity

  • $1,000 per month to start, with room to grow based on performance, responsibilities, and expansion
  • 100% of guest tips are yours
  • Opportunity for increased compensation as we add properties in the area
  • Opportunity to grow into a larger housekeeping or leadership role with the company
  • Flexible scheduling where we can reasonably accommodate it
  • Complimentary stays at Bosch Huis properties
  • All new team members begin with a two-week trial period so both sides can make sure it's a good fit

How to Apply

You don't need a perfect résumé.

We're much more interested in finding someone who is reliable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and takes pride in doing things well.

Text or email us with a little about yourself, your availability, and why you think you'd be a good fit. Previous housekeeping, hotel, vacation-rental, or professional cleaning experience is a plus, but not required — reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic matter more to us.

Reliable transportation or living close to the property is preferred, as the schedule can vary depending on guest turnovers.
