Lead HSE

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide Project HSE personnel and Company Representatives to ensure compliance with HSE requirements and the safe execution of all work activities.

• Facilitate HSE coordination between Production Operations, Drilling Rig/HWU, support vessels and Construction teams to

ensure safe, compliant, and efficient offshore operations.

• Implement and coordinate health screening and health promotion programs, ensuring appropriate medical personnel and facilities are available on facilities including rig and support vessels to maintain the fitness for work of all relevant personnel and crews.

• Coordinate and review project HSE risk assessments, ensuring all mitigation measures are effectively communicated and implemented before work begins.

• Develop, review, and maintain current project HSE documentation, including Bridging Documents for rig and support vessels, SIMOPS Matrices, and other project-specific HSE deliverables.

• Monitor contractor compliance and HSE performance against company requirements.

• Routinely review KPIs trends and coach teams to strengthen HSE performance.

• Manage HSE contracts and act as the focal point for contractors HSE matters.

• Coordinate HSE training, inductions, bridging documents, and permit requirements.

• Lead or facilitate incident investigations, identify root causes, and track corrective actions.

• Communicate HSE objectives, programs, and performance metrics to operations teams.

• Conduct site visits and audits, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Support project planning, procurement, onboarding, logistics, and QA/QC activities from an HSE perspective.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in a technical discipline; HSE-specific degree or NEBOSH certification is preferred

• Extensive HSE experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.

• HSE experience in well operations and construction activitiesis preferred.

• Knowledge of well safety, occupational safety, process safety, environmental management, regulatory compliance, incident investigation, and emergency response.

• Strong stakeholder engagement, influence, and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent written and spoken English
