Indoor Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is a growing, family-owned HVAC company serving Metro Atlanta. We are looking for an experienced Lead HVAC Service Technician who can diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems independently, communicate professionally with customers, and help set the standard for quality within our field team.

This is an opportunity for an experienced technician who wants more than just another service job. As Indoor Experts grows, we are looking for someone who can grow with us and potentially take on additional leadership responsibilities.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose residential HVAC system problems accurately
• Perform HVAC repairs and service independently
• Troubleshoot electrical, airflow, refrigerant, and mechanical issues
• Service heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioners, and related equipment
• Perform system startups and operational checks
• Explain findings and repair options clearly to customers
• Identify legitimate system replacement opportunities when appropriate
• Complete service documentation accurately
• Maintain an organized and properly stocked service vehicle
• Assist less-experienced technicians when needed
• Help maintain Indoor Experts' standards for quality workmanship and customer service

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate:

• Has strong residential HVAC diagnostic experience
• Can run service calls independently
• Takes pride in solving problems correctly
• Understands refrigeration, electrical systems, airflow, and controls
• Is comfortable working on heat pumps and gas furnaces
• Communicates professionally with homeowners
• Is dependable and shows up ready to work
• Works well as part of a team
• Takes care of company vehicles, tools, and equipment
• Is willing to continue learning and improving
• Can provide guidance to developing technicians
• Has a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Has EPA certification

Experience with Trane equipment, communicating systems, zoning, variable-speed equipment, and advanced controls is a plus.

Compensation

$30.00–$38.00 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated ability

Additional earning opportunities may include performance incentives and commissions on qualified system replacement opportunities.
