Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Senior Developer with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in integrations, automation, and platform customization, along with experience across multiple ServiceNow modules. The role requires a proactive problem-solver capable of architecting scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that support enterprise digital transformation initiatives. This aligns with internal ServiceNow developer requirements emphasizing integrations, platform customization, Agile delivery, and ServiceNow certifications. ,

Key Responsibilities

Platform Development & Customization

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions following platform best practices and governance standards.
• Configure and customize core ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CSM, Employee Center, and SPM.
• Build and maintain custom applications using App Engine Studio and ServiceNow Studio.
• Develop and support:
  • Business Rules
  • Client Scripts
  • UI Policies
  • Script Includes
  • UI Actions
  • Flow Designer workflows
• Perform code reviews and ensure solution scalability, maintainability, and security.

Integrations

• Design and implement complex integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise systems.
• Develop REST, SOAP, API, and MID Server-based integrations.
• Integrate ServiceNow with platforms such as Azure, AWS, SAP, Salesforce, and other third-party applications.
• Create and maintain Scripted REST APIs, IntegrationHub actions, and data synchronization solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize integration performance, reliability, and scalability.

Automation & Workflow Optimization

• Build end-to-end automation solutions using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Orchestration capabilities.
• Automate business processes and service workflows across enterprise systems.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency through automation.
• Implement best practices for workflow design and service delivery optimization.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, development, and release activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, integration specifications, and implementation guides.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members when required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–6 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong expertise in:
  • REST & SOAP Integrations
  • APIs and MID Server
  • Flow Designer
  • IntegrationHub
  • ServiceNow Orchestration
  • JavaScript & Glide APIs
• Experience working with at least 2–3 ServiceNow modules such as:
  • ITSM
  • ITOM
  • SPM
  • CSM
  • Employee Center
• Proven experience in designing scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions.
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. ,

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Mandatory
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) – Strongly Preferred
• Additional certifications are advantageous:
  • ITSM

  • HRSD
  • ITIL Foundation
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Git, and version control systems.
