Job Details Role: Lead IBM i (AS/400) Engineer
Location NJ - the person can be remote in USA but is required to be onsite for 100 hours/year. Duration: 12 months or longer.
Client will pay T&L for travel.
Lead engineer role with IBMi experience
Lead Engineer Shall
- Maintain detailed knowledge of SG's technical environment.
- Serve as the senior technical escalation resource.
- Provide proactive recommendations regarding architecture, performance, patching, firmware, lifecycle management, and best practices.
- Support technical roadmap planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate technical activities across operational support teams.
- Provide up to 100 hours of onsite support annually.
