Role: Lead Java Developer

Location: Irving, Texas - 5 days ONSITE

**W2 ONLY**

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Guidance : Lead and mentor Java developers, provide technical direction, and ensure code quality through reviews and best practices
• Application Development : Design, develop, implement, and maintain Java-based applications, including RESTful APIs, JMS integrations, and enterprise systems
• Architecture & Design : Participate in architecture decisions, create technical designs, and ensure compliance with specifications
• Project Management : Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, plan timelines, and manage delivery schedules
• Testing & Quality Assurance : Develop and execute unit and functional tests, identify and escalate issues, and ensure optimal performance
• Process Improvement : Optimize development processes, promote Agile methodologies, and maintain/updating documentation

Required Skills & Technologies

• Core Java : Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, and related frameworks
• Architecture : Knowledge of microservices, SOA, REST/SOAP web services, and design patterns
• Databases : SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB), stored procedures, XML/JSON handling
• Tools & Platforms : Jira, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and defect tracking tools Velvet
• Soft Skills : Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration
