Lead Lighting Technician

Pay: Full-time $30/hour

Job Summary

Join our fast-growing team as a Lead Lighting Technician to join our team installing year-round permanent holiday lighting across West Michigan. This is a part-time role to start with 2-3 weeks of training, which will grow into a full-time role with more hours and higher pay. This energetic role requires a hands-on, fast-paced, problem-solving, detail-oriented professional who thrives in outdoor environments, climbing ladders and working on rooftops.

Duties

• Lead permanent lighting installations by being the first line of communication with customers on-site, performing installation, and leading the installation team.
• Work with project manager to prep and game plan installations
• Complete accurate job documentation (photos, checklists, time tracking)
• Manage job site organization and cleanliness
• Communicate professionally with homeowner/business owner

Qualifications

• Comfortable climbing tall ladders and working on rooftops
• Strong attention to detail, since clean precise installs are what keep our customers happy
• Ability to solve problems, communicate well with customers, move quickly, lead a team, and manage time effectively while following safety procedures
• Strong work ethic, reliable, able to show up when scheduled, and work independently once trained
• Experience in a hands-on trade (construction, electrician, roofing, solar installer, painter, carpentry, etc.) is required.
• Valid drivers license and ability to pass a background check
• Ability to start immediately
• Ability to provide multiple references, if requested
