Job Summary

As a Lead Line Cook, you’ll keep kitchen service moving with focused leadership, consistent food preparation, and careful attention to recipes and food safety. You’ll coordinate line work, prepare dishes to established standards, and help the team deliver a smooth, satisfying dining experience. Your impact: By guiding consistent, safe food production, you help guests enjoy well-prepared meals and support an efficient kitchen team.

Duties

• Lead daily line operations, organize prep, and coordinate meal preparation during service.
• Prepare and cook menu items using techniques such as grilling, sautéing, and frying.
• Follow recipes, portion standards, and food safety and sanitizing procedures.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely; maintain clean, organized workstations and handle food properly.
• Support menu planning, catering, and high-volume production as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Skills

• Required: Kitchen or culinary experience, food preparation, cooking, knife skills, recipe adherence, and knowledge of food handling and food safety management.
• Required: Ability to operate kitchen equipment and maintain clean, sanitary work areas.
• Preferred: Lead line, restaurant, food service, food industry, or high-volume production experience.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
