Lead Line Cook/Sous Chef

Lead Line Cook | $20–$26/hr | Full-Time

Pastavino is hiring an experienced Lead Line Cook to join our kitchen team in Greer, SC.

We are a busy, established full-service restaurant with a scratch-driven menu featuring fresh pasta, seafood, steaks and composed entrées. We’re looking for an experienced restaurant cook who is comfortable working a fast-paced line and takes pride in quality, consistency and execution.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous full-service restaurant line cook experience required
• Sauté experience strongly preferred
• Experience working multiple stations preferred
• Comfortable working high-volume dinner service
• Strong cooking fundamentals and knife skills
• Ability to follow recipes, portions and plating standards
• Clean, organized and dependable
• Able to work efficiently as part of a team
• Evening and weekend availability

The Position

You’ll work as part of our line team preparing and executing dishes to Pastavino’s standards throughout service. Responsibilities include station setup, mise en place, cooking to order, consistent plating, maintaining a clean and organized station, and assisting with prep and breakdown.

This position is intended for someone with real full-service restaurant line experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen. Candidates who demonstrate strong performance and reliability will have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities over time.
