As our data center project portfolio continues to expand across the Southeast, we are seeking an experienced Lead Low Voltage Security Technician to join our team in Atlanta, GA.

Position Overview

The Lead Low Voltage Security Technician is responsible for overseeing installation crews, executing complex security system builds, and ensuring all work meets Flash Security standards, client specifications, and data center compliance requirements. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise installation teams on data center security projects.
• Install, configure, and commission electronic security systems including access control, CCTV/IP cameras, intrusion detection, and alarm systems.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and corrective repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Interpret and execute work based on blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and clients to maintain workflow, resolve issues, and ensure project milestones are met.
• Provide basic system operation training to clients and end users.
• Maintain accurate documentation: service reports, daily logs, redlines, and closeout packages.
• Enforce safety protocols, job site compliance, and company standards at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience leading crews in low‑voltage security installations.
• Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV/IP cameras, alarm systems, and networking fundamentals.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction documents.
• Proficient with multimeters, cable testers, power tools, and termination tools.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• OSHA 30 Certification (required).
• Aerial Lift Training Certification (required).
• ESA, NICET, or manufacturer‑specific certifications are a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Access Control, IP Security Cameras, Burglar Alarm, and Fire Alarm systems.
• Familiarity with structured cabling, conduit work, and cable pathway installation.
• Basic IP networking knowledge (VLANs, PoE, device addressing).
• Ability to mentor junior technicians and maintain high team performance standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
