Lead Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and versatile lead maintenance tech to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and construction tasks across various projects. Your hands-on skills and proactive approach will help ensure that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities

• Execute general repairs and maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and drywall installation.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
• Assist with construction site setup, cleanup, and organization to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Install fixtures such as doors, cabinets, glass panels, trim carpentry elements, and other building components.
• Perform concrete finishing, masonry work, stucco application, roofing repairs, and hardscape installation as needed.
• Conduct inspections for quality control and ensure compliance with safety standards throughout all phases of work.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction or handyman roles with familiarity in construction site operations.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and heavy equipment operation
• Skills in various trades including carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), masonry (concrete forming), roofing, flooring installation (tile laying), plastering, welding, and restoration work.
• Ability to perform plumbing and electrical tasks with a clear understanding of safety protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail; capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. This is a full time position for Wavecrest Assisted Living, offering health insurance and a PTO packages.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
