Lead Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

Lead Maintenance Technicians keep facility equipment and building systems safe, reliable, and ready for daily operations. You’ll lead maintenance work, coordinate priorities, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) issues. Your impact: By resolving equipment and facility problems promptly, you help employees work safely and keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage facilities maintenance teams; assign work, guide technicians, and coordinate maintenance schedules and projects.
• Perform and oversee industrial maintenance, mechanical systems repair, HVAC system repair, and plumbing system maintenance and repair.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, including high- and low-voltage equipment; use a voltmeter and ohmmeter safely.
• Read schematics and work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose equipment issues.
• Follow maintenance repair procedures, safety regulations, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements; document work in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

Experience

• Experience in maintenance, facilities management, facilities maintenance management, or maintenance management, with strong mechanical knowledge and electrical experience.
• Supervising experience and leadership skills, including team management and managing facilities maintenance teams.
• Engineering troubleshooting and project management skills; ability to organize work and communicate priorities.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, schematics, PLCs, CMMS, and Microsoft Office.
• English proficiency required to communicate clearly, document maintenance work, and follow safety procedures.

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
