Job Summary

Duties

• Lead and supervise a team of massage therapists, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to protocols
• Perform advanced massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific patient needs
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop personalized treatment plans
• Educate clients on benefits of various massage therapies and recommend appropriate treatments for pain management and occupational health concerns
• Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and treatment outcomes using medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
• Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety standards, and sanitation procedures in the treatment area
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient recovery, physiotherapy goals, or medical treatments when applicable

Skills

• Proven experience in patient service with a focus on customer satisfaction and comfort
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
• Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and develop effective treatment plans
• Excellent communication skills for educating clients and collaborating with healthcare teams
• Experience working in a med spa or medical wellness environment preferred
• Knowledge of occupational health practices to promote workplace well-being

Pay: $25.36 - $160.00 per hour
