Lead - Mechanical

Role & responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering activities for oil & gas projects.
• Review and approve mechanical drawings, specifications, and design documents.
• Handle static and rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, vessels, tanks, and piping interfaces.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, QA/QC, and HSE teams.
• Review vendor documents, technical submittals, and material specifications.
• Ensure work complies with project specifications, international codes, and client requirements.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.
• Manage equipment alignment, hydrotesting, pressure testing, and pre-commissioning activities.
• Resolve technical issues and provide effective engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and project quality requirements.
• Lead and mentor the mechanical engineering and site execution team.
• Support commissioning, start-up, and handover activities.
