Lead Mitigation Technician

Force 1 Restoration Services, LLC is looking for a dependable and experienced Water Mitigation Lead Technician to join our growing team. The Lead Technician will oversee water mitigation projects from start to finish while leading technicians in the field and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise water mitigation crews on residential and commercial projects
• Respond to water damage emergencies and assess affected areas
• Perform water extraction, demolition, drying, and moisture monitoring
• Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment
• Identify water categories, classes, and affected materials
• Communicate professionally with customers, insurance adjusters, and office staff
• Complete job documentation, photos, moisture readings, and daily reports
• Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and properly secured
• Train and assist technicians with proper mitigation procedures
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and supplies
• Follow all company safety policies and restoration procedures
• Provide emergency and after-hours response when required

Requirements

• Valid driver's license is required
• Reliable transportation is required
• Previous water mitigation/restoration experience preferred
• Lead or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be dependable, professional, and able to work independently
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, demolition, and working in various conditions
• Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation
• Must be willing to work weekends and overtime when needed
• Ability to respond to emergency water losses when required
