Shenandoah Valley Child Development Center is looking for an experienced, confident, and nurturing teacher to lead our mixed 2's and 3's classroom!

This is a wonderful group of children with lots of personality! We do have some strong-willed friends, so we are looking for someone who is calm, patient, confident, and experienced in managing a diverse group of children with different needs and personalities.

The ideal candidate will have:
✨ Experience working in a licensed child care setting
✨ Knowledge of CLASS and the importance of creating a strong Positive Climate
✨ Strong classroom management skills using positive guidance
✨ The ability to remain calm and consistent during challenging behaviors
✨ A nurturing personality combined with the confidence to set appropriate boundaries
✨ A genuine love for helping young children learn, grow, and thrive

We are looking for someone who understands that building relationships and creating a positive classroom environment can make all the difference. This position is perfect for a seasoned teacher who isn't easily overwhelmed and knows how to turn a challenging day into a successful one!

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
