NOW HIRING: MOVING TEAM LEAD

Location: Seattle, WA (Ballard 98107)

Pay: $30–$45 per hour + 100% of Your Cash Tips!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead the Crew & Prepare for the Day

• Review the day's job details and prepare the truck and equipment.
• Meet with your crew and depart headquarters at approximately 9:00 a.m.
• Direct, train, and assist crew members in properly protecting, wrapping, and loading customers' belongings.
• Perform a thorough final walkthrough to ensure nothing is left behind.

Drive, Deliver & Supervise

• Safely operate our 16-foot or 26-foot box trucks.
• Lead the crew at the destination, supervising and assisting with unloading and placing furniture and belongings in the customer's home.
• Ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Finish Strong

• Conduct a final walkthrough and confirm the customer is satisfied.
• Distribute cash tips to yourself and your crew.
• Return the truck to headquarters and prepare it for the next day's job.
• Record crew hours for payroll.
• As you gain experience, learn to conduct walkthroughs, prepare estimates, and help book new customers.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, leads by example, and understands that customers are trusting us with their most valuable belongings.

You should be someone who:

• Can confidently lead, motivate, and train a small moving crew.
• Knows how to protect, wrap, load, and unload furniture and household goods safely.
• Can drive a box truck or is willing and able to learn.
• Has a neat, clean, professional appearance. Tattoos are absolutely fine!
• Has a friendly personality, a genuine smile, and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Communicates clearly with customers, crew members, and our Operations Manager.
• Is interested in learning customer walkthroughs, estimating, quoting, and booking new jobs.
• Wants more than just a paycheck and is interested in developing into a trusted, long-term team leader.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Reliable personal transportation to and from work.
• Dependable, punctual, and physically capable of performing hands-on moving work.
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach to customer service.
